Al Franken For President

Dear Al,

Just wondering if you could throw your

hat in and run for president.

Why.....because

someone was saying on a news reel that no one is

big enough to go against trump's "show" and

unfortunately that is probably true.

It is not about

politics or intelligence or policy, it is more about

withstanding his boxing match and running to

watch the fight.

Everyone can hear trump but not

everyone can hear a politician with big words.

comedian cuts through all of this. Remember your

friend bill o'reilly........it could turn into the same

thing.

Think about it.....you may be the one person

who could effectively go up against him--

figuratively speaking.

Fighting Kavanaugh on The Bill Press Show on @TheRonnieRe- September 28, 2018

Kavanaugh, the quintessential entitled white man cannot even answer questions honestly about his past behavior.

It is always the rough neck abusers of women that also want to curtail the reproductive rights of women.

Let's talk donald trump and bill o'reily as examples.

Boys, we're not having it that way in this day and age.

We had a chance to catch up with editor in chief, Ronnie from The Ronnie Republic and get his thoughts on the recent dust up involving Kathy Griffin and her visual thoughts on donald trump.

Well, it is always a tough decision in these kind of situations but at the end of the day we have to remember we have the privilege of  living here in our great country of The United States and one of the things that makes our values so sought after in comparison to other countries on the world stage is that we do have freedom of speech, in no uncertain terms and that is all there is.

No, I said the same thing when they asked me about Colbert--it boils down to one thing.  We can express our opinions without retribution.  We have the right to think out loud.

Ronnie also feared that in reality much more harm will be done by the literal assault of donald trump on our environment than the promotion of one picture by one lady.

Ronnie felt like the folks are getting fed up with the antics of the donald and we are likely to see more protests with similar sentiment.

When asked if his paper would continue to report on Kathy Griffin and other comedians of the same philosophy Ronnie indicated that he would still be glad to cover this kind of story.  He added that he did not want anyone to think that he did not take things or consequences seriously but he is still driven by his love to tell a story.

Just like reporting on the insanity of bill o'reilly or sean hannity The Ronnie Republic loves to get the word out on all sides.

The Ronnie Republic will even report on our own whining republican, Carl DeMaio.  Not only does this individual suffer from the lack of a sense of humor but he apparently also does not want anyone to have healthcare judged by his rebuke of the facts after an interview yesterday afternoon.  AM radio in San Diego is so ultra conservative,  KOGO made a poor decision in going all Carl and losing Sully.

Just like Jim Carrey, Don Rickles observed that we are lucky to have comedians--sometimes they are the only ones who can really tap into the sentiment of the people.

Don Rickles who has been known for having a sharp tongue has also been one to be truthful yet humorous--not too many of us possess that talent.

Ronnie and Don Rickles have been friends for a long time and he often looks to Don for input on this kind of issue.

Thanks, Ronnie, for taking a few minutes out of your very busy day to give up your take on this giant media issue.

Is Bill O'Reilly Insane?

From the July 6 edition of Fox News' The O'Reilly Factor:

DAVID MENDELL: Just because President Obama attended the wedding of a relative who was a Muslim doesn't necessarily mean he has deep ties to Islam.
BILL O'REILLY (HOST): You wouldn't say that if your father and your stepfather, both Islamists, and then your half brother and half sister, both Muslims, you wouldn't call those deep ties?
MENDELL: Well, they are ties. President Obama is a very unique cultural figure. He has ties to various worlds. He has ties in the African-American world. He has ties to Kansas where his mother was born. He himself is a devout Christian. I would follow him around on the campaign trail back here in Illinois --
O'REILLY: Whoa, whoa, whoa, devout Christian? He doesn't go to church on a regular basis. How did you arrive at that assessment? Why would he be -- he's a Christian. I believe he's a Christian. I'm not one of these guys who says he's a Muslim. But I don't think he's a devout Christian.
MENDELL: Well, he would go along the campaign trail here in Illinois, he would have the Holy Bible sitting in the door compartment of his vehicle, and he would refer to it consistently. He and Michelle would attend services of, you can go back to Jeremiah Wright if you want but --
O'REILLY: I don't know if that's devout in Jeremiah Wright's church is a little political.
MENDELL: But he's given expensive interviews about his beliefs in Christianity.
O'REILLY: Yeah but what you say and what you do are not necessarily the same thing. I base my analysis on the fact that in my opinion -- and I could be wrong, but I'm not -- President Obama's sympathetic treatment of Muslims put the country in danger because he has not elevated the risks that we have to the level it should be. And he allowed ISIS to be created because of his foolish decision to withdraw troops in Iraq and to pretty much run wild for five years. So another president, angry about the jihad, would not have done that. Am I wrong?
MENDELL: Well, I think President Obama is very sympathetic to all cultures, all religions. He grew up in a multiplicity --
O'REILLY: Is that good for a commander in chief to be very sympathetic to all cultures and all beliefs when thousands of people are being murdered?
MENDELL: Obviously you think it's a bad quality.
O'REILLY: You don't?
MENDELL: Well, I think he is a unique figure in that he can see various viewpoints. I'm not here necessarily to argue --
O'REILLY: He's the commander in chief of the country -- wait, wait, wait, Mr. Mendell. Mr. Mendell, he's the commander in chief of the United States, and his main charge is to protect us. It's not main charge as to be touchy-feely to all different cultures.

Geraldo Rivera Battles Bill O’Reilly Over Trump Attack on Hillary Clinton

Good job, Geraldo, well done!  Geraldo is one of the few people on Fox who can talk about both sides of the issue without getting angry.  He can talk about the facts of the issue and his opinion about the subject separately.

Geraldo Rivera does a good job of handling O'Reilly and presenting the facts.

Bill O'Reilly could have had Botox--what do you think--check out the distance between his eyebrows.

Charles Krauthammer Tells O'Reilly He Is a Weasel for Defending Trump

On the Factor this evening Charles Krauthammer tells Bill O'Reilly he is a weasel for defending donald trump at his Chicago rally Friday night called off due to protester interruption.

Charles Krauthammer had to explain to Bill O'Reilly there were two separate issues:  first there was the protest by the left at odds with the views of trump and secondly, the larger issue of trump, an individual running for the highest office in our country, not condemning the fighting taking place in the crowd by his supporters.  Krauthammer was specifically talking about the man that sucker punched a protester who had made an inappropriate gesture and then said the next time we may have to kill him.

Charles Krauthammer had to explain the whole thing to Bill--twice and slowly.  Bill tried to say trump was in uncharted waters as he had never run for political office and that he should be excused for his lack of criticism for this kind of act.

Charles Krauthammer had to go into more detail of trump's repeated calls to punch someone in the face and recounting tales of protesters being taken out on a stretcher in days past.

Yes, on Fox News Charles Krauthammer spoke against the ideas and campaign of the donald.  Charles said the way he was acting was not right, not Presidential and not the kind of activity that should take place by someone running for this kind of position.  Charles said donald is making incorrect statements about violence and it has to stop.

As one watches the show one has to wonder if Bill O'Reilly condones this kind of behavior.  One wonders if trump is a racist and a bigot and bill follows in that philosophy, as well.

Charles Krauthammer ridicules Bill O’Reilly for using “weaselly words” to defend Trump’s violent rhetoric

"Readjust his violent rhetoric?" Krauthammer asked, there's "No excuse" for not condemning it

Charles Krauthammer was unimpressed, to say the least, by Bill O’Reilly’s defense of Trump’s violent rhetoric.
On Monday night’s edition of The O’Reilly Factor, Krauthammer opened by commenting on Sarah Palin’s condemnation of the “punk-ass thuggery” of far-left plants at Trump rallies, saying that “it’s refreshing to hear Sarah Palin — it’s that kind of calm, reasoned political rhetoric that we need in this country, and it’s so welcomed when we can hear it from her.”
O’Reilly chuckled, but his mirth was short-lived, as Krauthammer immediately turned on the GOP front-runner himself. “There are two separate phenomenon here,” by which he meant the organized “tactic of shutting the opposition down,” much like what — according to Krauthammer — happened “in the 1920s and 1930s,” and which is “happening on campuses all the time now, speakers who aren’t allowed to speak,” basically how “the left acts in a totalitarian way to control who speaks.”
Such a phenomenon should be condemned, he added, but that’s not what is happening at Trump events. The candidate himself is “winking and nodding and saying, ‘In the old days, we carried them out on a stretcher,'” suggesting in no uncertain terms that “‘We used to beat people like that until they weren’t able to walk.'”
“We saw a guy on that tape sucker-punching a demonstrator in the face, and saying, ‘If we see him again, we may have to kill him.'” When Trump was asked about it, he said “‘I don’t condone violence in the abstract,’ [and] that’s great, but he refused to condemn it, and that’s unconscionable. Are you letting Trump off the hook for this?” Krauthammer asked.
“I’m not,” O’Reilly shot back. “I’ve said he has to readjust his rhetoric.”
“Come on Bill!” Krauthammer replied. “‘Readjust the rhetoric‘? What kind of weaselly words are those? ‘Readjust the rhetoric‘?”
“I’m trying to deal with this in a fair and balanced way,” O’Reilly said, despite having spent the majority of the program having done nothing of the sort. “So I think we’re going to remove the word ‘weaselly’ from it.”
“I’m not going to rebut the point, I’m going to illuminate the point,” he continued. “Trump speaks in an emotional manner — he talks like this, ‘bang, bang, bang’ — and he doesn’t have a filter. He doesn’t think sometimes before he speaks, he doesn’t understand that his words can carry threats. But I’m not going to sit here and say he’s responsible for what happened in Chicago.”
O’Reilly added that Trump only failed to condemn his supporter because “he never admits a mistake,” a rationale that didn’t sit well with Krauthammer. “That’s no excuse,” he said, “no excuse. How difficult is it to condemn it and not say, ‘it’s obvious that that [who sucker-punched a protester] is a patriot.'”
