Planned Parenthood Federation of America's Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Raegan McDonald-Mosey Talks Birth Control in the age of trump

Check out this very imformative clip from The Bill Press Show talking about birth control and the ability to choose the best method for a particular individual in the age of trump.

Seriously, this is a health care issue not a political isssue--everyone deserves the best healthcare available.

Longing for our former President.

I Love Hillary

Yes, it's true.

I love Hillary Clinton and I have been waiting for her forever.

So sad after the election that I have just now started watching the news and that would usually be PBS or listening to a progressive radio station.

She is a strong lady and our nation is also strong and we will all survive in spite of the outcome but a setback may be in store for the Supreme Court and Planned Parenthood.  Those are deal breakers for this Hillary girl.

She sent this beautiful letter and I wanted to share it with everyone:

Chloe --

Before this year ends, I want to thank you again for your support of our campaign. While we didn't achieve the outcome we sought, I'm proud of the vision and values we fought for and the nearly 66 million people who voted for them.

I believe it is our responsibility to keep doing our part to build a better, stronger, and fairer future for our country and the world.

The holidays are a time to be thankful for our blessings. So let us rejoice in this season and look forward with renewed hope and determination.

I wish you and your family health, happiness, and continued strength for the New Year and the work ahead.

I look forward to staying in touch in 2017. Onward!

With deep appreciation and warm wishes, I am,

Yours,

Hillary

Hillary Did Good Last Night

donald's dumb and unthought out comments only make Hillary better........

HILLARY DID GOOD LAST NIGHT:

Just wanted to say I really appreciated your comments about the donald last evening because as a OR nurse one cannot always opt out of a procedure and the "D and C" or TAB, therapeutic abortion, is a routine procedure done for many reasons.

The idea that we would go back to pre 1970 and not have a personal choice or the idea that a health care worker would go to jail or be punished for participating in a routine procedure is archaic. Not to mention stupid.

This is someone who by his actions wants to participate in the sexual revolution footloose and fancy free but punish the woman if an unwanted pregnancy occurs.

The man is disgusting.

I have been waiting for Hillary forever because she is a mom just like me but now I would vote for her on Planned Parenthood alone because that is not something I am never willing to negotiate.

I was voting for her anyway. I am still sad about the last election but I love President Obama, too.

We are a team, me and Hillary.....same-same.

This is why she will easily beat the Repubs also.

Well done!

Dear Hillary: On donald trump and Hipocrisy--Will I Be Jailed?

Dear Hillary,

hy·poc·ri·sy

the practice of claiming to have moral standards or beliefs to which one's own behavior does not conform; pretense.

On donald trump and his confusing, contradicting message.

Thinking donald trump is a product of and one who has enjoyed the sexual revolution of the sixities and the seventies and women's lib one would wonder why he would want punishment for those who have made an error in birth control regarding this issue.

He promoted a picture of his beautiful wife, Melania and bragged about her photo in GQ--her photo without clothes--one would conclude a photo of a beautiful and lovely woman without clothes, fur blanket to boot, his private jet.....wouldn't this give the viewer and listener a picture of sex, sexual attraction.

Let's use other words--an opportunity for pregnancy.

This picture of Melania suggests he would promote sex out of marriage, the use of birth control, unless he wants the prospect of having children every time anyone acts on the idea of this picture.  One would also think he is in favor of sex outside of marriage by his history of girlfriends separate from his wife--while he was married.

So while he promotes sex and the idea of it for men he also wants the woman to be punished and even serve jail time if they would choose not to have children if a pregnancy ensued.

Just wondering--is donald trump promoting health care, education on birth control or just punishment for women only and as he mentioned, no punishment for the man.

So the man can fool around and be promiscuous, no consequences, no responsibility for birth control, money or raising children but the woman or the health care provider, doctors and nurses can go to jail.

This does not seem right to me.

He is going back to the dark ages.

Then, later as he tried to rectify his stupidity of his words he suggested possibly the woman should not be punished but the workers that participate in the procedure and the facility.

TAB--Therapeutic Abortion or D and C--Dilatation and Curettage is a routine hospital and surgery center procedure.

Yes, it is for termination of pregnancy and the same procedure is used for many reasons such as obtaining specimens.

As a nurse does this mean I would potentially have to face jail time for going to work because one can not always opt out of routine procedures.

Something is not right about his thought process.

It is embarrassing for our country that this individual is running for our leader.

I am afraid of this man who proclaims that no one would have a better ability to provide health care to women than him.

If this is the archaic kind of health care he wants to provide for women let me think about moving to a country with a more modern system.

The man is uninformed--the man needs to get up to speed before he runs for President.

Please keep up the good work with Planned Parenthood and education for women.  I will be voting for you in November.

I do not know if it is possible to educate donald trump.

Maybe The GOP Establishment Should Have Embraced John Kasich Sooner: Jonathan Cohn and Huff Po on the ronnie re

Maybe The GOP Establishment Should Have Embraced John Kasich Sooner

Once again, the party's obsession with Obamacare comes back to haunt it.

Ohio Gov. John Kasich’s big win in his home state keeps him in the Republican race -- and puts him in position to contend seriously in states like neighboring Pennsylvania, where he’s headed next and where he would appear to be well-positioned to challenge both real estate mogul Donald Trump and Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas).
But Kasich has no chance of getting a majority of pledged delegates from the caucuses and primaries, which means his only hope is a contested convention. And it will be difficult for Kasich to walk away from Cleveland with the nomination if, as seems likely, he enters the convention with fewer pledged delegates than either of his rivals. Such is the reality when you don’t win your first contest until the primary campaign is two months old -- and more than half of the delegates have been awarded.
On Tuesday night there were probably some Republican establishment figures -- desperate to stop Trump, highly unenthusiastic about Cruz -- wondering why they didn’t get behind Kasich some time ago. If so, they have only themselves to blame.
Kasich would appear to be a formidable candidate in the general election. He’s highly popular in his home state of Ohio, which happens to be a key swing state. He’s also got an easy, natural way with working-class voters -- and manages to espouse strongly conservative views in a folksy, unpolished way that connotes authenticity and disarms critics.
But except for some former colleagues in the House of Representatives, where Kasich served before becoming Ohio’s governor, even moderates within the GOP establishment were slow to rally behind Kasich -- even after it became apparent that neither former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush or Florida Sen. Marco Rubio had a prayer of getting the nomination for themselves.
So what gives?
One possible reason is that Kasich, for all of his conservative positions on issues like abortion and taxes, committed the ultimate act of Republican heresy: He had his state participate in the Affordable Care Act’s expansion of Medicaid.
Of course, Kasich wasn’t the only Republican to do so -- Arizona’s Jan Brewer and Michigan’s Rick Snyder, among others, did the same thing. But when Republicans in the Ohio legislature and conservatives across the country tried to stop Kasich, Kasich fought back -- making not just the obvious pragmatic argument (that Ohio was better off taking the federal money that went with the expansion) but also a moral argument (that letting poor people suffer and even die from lack of insurance was wrong).
Speaking to reporters in 2013, Kasich said, "Now, when you die and get to the meeting with St. Peter, he’s probably not going to ask you much about what you did about keeping government small. But he is going to ask you what you did for the poor. You better have a good answer.  "
Making matters even worse, Kasich invoked similar logic when he refused to endorse mass deportations. This may have been the only position more toxic in Republican politics than challenging party orthodoxy on Obamacare -- and, once again, Kasich defended it on moral grounds.
"I couldn't even imagine how we would even begin to think about taking a mom or a dad out of a house when they have not committed a crime since they've been here, leaving their children in the house," he said at one Republican debate. "That is not, in my opinion, the kind of values that we believe in."
Kasich's refusal to endorse mass deportations should not have been a profile in courage, and the same goes for his decision to embrace the Affordable Care Act's Medicaid expansion. There’s actually a long history of Republicans working with Washington to implement safety net programs, even when they don’t like the design of those programs. But that was before the party lurched right on immigration and health care, and the party establishment went along.
Today, with Bush and Rubio out of the race, and Trump threatening outright to claim the nomination, more Republican leaders might be willing to overlook Kasich’s heresies -- a few weeks too late to do any good.

Brilliant show today from Noam Laden on 77 WABC New York News/Talk Radio.

Calling out Donald Trump on his ridiculous accusations about different groups of citizens in the United States, the last one being Muslims.

Setting a very poor example for someone aiming for the highest office in our country to single out certain groups in Hitler style fear mongering.

Some of the most offensive statements to this blog writer is the disrespect he directs toward a sitting President of the United States.

Seriously, someone I voted for twice and someone this blog lady stands behind 100 per cent.

Standing with President Barck Obama.

Noam Laden said today that police officers in New York City have to be removed from their regular posts in order to protect certain mosques that have received threats from angered citizens.Image result for noam laden

Noam is suggesting some of this anger rests with donald trump after stirring up the population by asking for Muslims to be banned from our country......Muslim children are afraid and a violent attack may ensue.

People, this is not right.  donald makes false claims.

At the end of the day, WABC might want to consider the fact that they already have plenty of home grown talent to fill the void of Geraldo Rivera--Noam Laden always does an excellent job of creating stimulating conversation about current news issues.  Like Geraldo, Noam Laden can handle the callers--agree or disagree without anger and shouting.

Noam Laden is very equipped to host a radio show on a popular New York News/Talk radio station.

WABC should keep with their tradition of Geraldo Rivera and Curtis and Kuby by letting both sides of the issue be known.  It is much more interesting for the listener than the angry, shouting old, white man

With Noam, Geraldo and Curtis and Kuby we have both sides of the news--we have more information to make our own decisions.

Well done today, Noam and thank you for a good show.

Now if we can just do something about the false info on Planned Parenthood spewed by O'Reilly--stirring up hate--can we lay blame at the feet of this individual, as well.

I hope everyone can listen to my girl, Joan Hamburg at 10 AM on Saturdays--this lady has the best recipes--I can't wait to visit New York and see the things she talks about--I love Joan.
